Iron on edging a melamine board at home demonstration video. Edge your own shelving board

Here is a little sneak peak behind the scenes showing just how simple it is to re- edge or edge a melamine board.

All our melamine boards come with 2 long edges edged but once cut you may lose this and sometimes all 4 edges being finished is needed.

We can either do this for you as demonstrated by my good self in this little DIY video or by you at home

****The video has been made in such a way to show that no workshop or fancy equipment is needed obviously we have specific workspace where we normally do this but you at home may not. I wanted to make it very basic and not professional or trade looking and hopefully this comes across.****

If you copy and paste the above link into your google search bar you will see my very amateur video made to show in a very non professional way that you can in fact edge your own boards

All you need to edge your own board :

The board

The edging ( slightly longer than the board edge )

A warm iron

A sharp blade to trim as the edging is always oversized

Ideally a rag or cloth to wipe over the warm edge or a sleeve as you saw me use 🤦♀️

Sand paper to neaten off the edge
